What is a Property Development Fund?

A Property Development Fund is a simple way for clients to invest in larger-scale residential property developments and requires a minimum $50k investment. Development is the process of adding value to a property by maximising it’s potential, which generates profits, thereby delivering attractive investor returns. When you invest in one of our projects, you are investing in this property development and the value adding process of transforming land into subdivided lots, apartments, townhouses or commercial property.

Each of our Development Funds is a stand alone investment opportunity. The capital you invest at the start of the project is used to acquire broad acre or undeveloped land. OpenCorp’s development team then take the project through the design phase, improving its value along the way, before constructing and selling the completed lots (or units) for the retail price. It is this development process that generates the profits for the investors. At the completion of the project, which is generally when the apartments have been sold, your initial capital and the development profits are returned to you, allowing you to reinvest in future projects.
